Whether they're considered tablets or PCs, 2-in-1 devices are flavor of the month (or should that be year?) in the Middle East and Africa. With a whopping 120% growth in shipments forecast for 2015, consumers in the region clearly have a thing for hybrid computing devices.
Whatever the definition, the device type is set to see a year of quite phenomenal growth in the Middle East and Africa. According to December 2014 data from IDC, which incidentally covers these devices in its “Quarterly Tablet Tracker” forecasts, 2-in-1s will record shipment growth of 120% in 2015.
