39% of UK internet users ages 16 and more are interested to buy Apple Watch

An April 2015 survey from GfK found that 39% of UK internet users ages 16 and over were interested, to some degree, in the Apple Watch.
UK millennials ages 25 to 34 were the likeliest to report planning on buying a smart watch—26% of this age group—in the next six months. However, 57% of total respondents intending to purchase a smart watch said they were waiting until Apple’s model was released before pulling the trigger.
Speaking to the likability of smart watches, 32% of current owners reported aiming to buy another one, vs. 11% of nonowners. A Q1 2015 study from Barclaycard Business, a UK-based global payment company, confirmed similar figures. Of the 2,000 UK adults surveyed, 10% were considering a smart watch purchase in 2015—a relatively low percentage, given that in the next three months alone 18% of respondents believed they would buy a new mobile phone.
