Maramures is one of those places where time seems to stop, giving us time to enjoy the simple things.

You get to see the beauty of the nature, animals that children know better from books, simple people, cheerful, inviting you to be their guest and to give them the satisfaction to make you feel good.

Here you can see daily life, with all of the needs, almost the same for hundreds of years ago. Most of them, can be settled only by the nature: ” maybe will snow, because it’s good for the earth, but not so much to have floods; maybe will rain when is heat and drought; maybe the rain will stop when rivers are whirling ….”

Local people, pray for all of them and know how to say thank  for everything.

Maybe that’s why, Maramures, is one of those places where you can find spirituality in its pure form and even, you get to enjoy it.

Winter holidays have a special place into the heart of Maramures, because they are the ones that carry on and from very far, the traditions and the local customs.

Every year on December 27 in Sighetu Marmatiei, the Maramures hystorical residence, takes place “ The Customs and traditions Festival “. It brings together artists, writers, historians, ethnologists, representatives of the folk areas in Romania and abroad, people who love Maramures.

Speaking of people who love Maramures, one of them, who proved this many times is Miya Kosei, who says that Maramures is the place, “where he found a second home”

Miya Kosei was born in 1937 in Tokyo. He studied literature, art, history and ethnology, economics and sociology. He came first time in Romania in 1965. He likes very much Maramures and visited it hundred times. Many of his books and volumes of photos are dedicated to Romania and Maramures.

In December this year, at “The Festival of customs and traditions”, in Sighetu Marmatiei, at 86 years old, Miya Kosei announces publication of his new photo album about Maramures. This album will be released this summer, in partnership with the publisher Valea Verde ( Green Valley) from Sighet. ( the interview took by Mr. Cristian Fernea is in romanian language, the translation will be ready soon)

I would like in Maramures, everything that is nice and healthy, to remain. In most of all villages in Maramures, customs and traditions for hundreds of years ago, don’t happen only on holidays. There are part of the people’s everyday life.

How could it be that the “new” to be taken in the existed context and to harmoniously match the ” landscape”?

 5 o’clock @ 6 o’clock, Lifestyle & Business Casual Events

the article in english

In cadrul evenimentului 5 o’clock @ 6 o’clock, Lifestyle & Business Casual Events din decembrie, organizat Marti, 18.12.2012, la IBIS Hotel Bucuresti, am dat START pentru THE OLYMPICS.

THE OLYMPICS este programul de responsabilitate Hearty Concept, care are ca obiectiv sprijinirea activitatilor sportive si sprijinirea aplicarii valorilor olimpismului in societate.

In timp ce urmaream Jocurilor Olimpice London 2012, Inspire a generation… acestea m-au inspirat.

3 motivatii pentru nasterea programului THE OLYMPICS:

http://andra-cretu.com/blog/jocurile-olimpice-londra-2012-cel-mai-important-eveniment-mondial-al-momentului/

http://andra-cretu.com/blog/jocurile-olimpice-si-evanghelie-zappa-evangelos-zappas/

http://andra-cretu.com/blog/jocurile-paralimpice-londra-2012/

* demnitate, modestie in victorie si seninatate in infrangeri

Unul dintre promotorii acestui concept in Romania, Luminita, preda studentilor de la Facultatea De Jurnalism Stiintele Comunicarii cursul CSR, incercand sa trezeasca in ei, in acelasi timp, responsabilitatea personala.

 5 o’clock @ 6 o’clock, Lifestyle & Business Casual Events

the article in romanian

During the 5 o’clock @ 6 o’clock, Lifestyle & Business Casual Event organized in december,18.12.2012, at IBIS Hotel, Bucharest we gave START  for THE OLYMPICS.

THE OLYMPICS is the Hearty Concept responsibility program, having likeobjective to support sports activities and also to support the implementation of the Olympism values into the society.

While I was watching the Olympics London 2012, Inspire a generation … these inspired me.

3 reasons for THE OLYMPICS program’s birth:

http://andra-cretu.com/blog/the-olympic-games-%E2%80%93-the-most-powerfull-brand/

http://andra-cretu.com/blog/the-olympic-games-london-2012-%E2%80%93-inspire-a-generation-%E2%80%93-the-most-important-event-of-the-year/

http://andra-cretu.com/blog/the-paralympic-games-london-2012/

The Olympism is a concept of culture, with an universality character, which has in the foreground people and the human condition; the Olympism is seen as a factor that bring people together, across political, religious options.

It has established itself throughout history, through a set of values, the most important being: the respect and the dignity.

* the respect for the opponent, considered as race partner, the relationships promoted being the partnerships, the associations

* Dignity, modesty in the victory and serenity in the defeat

All of these are the basis of the concept of fair play, “the essence of sport, the most valuable asset of its,the quintessential correctness” – Gabriela Costiu sports trainers. In her post “Olympism and fair play”, I found some ideas about the olympism that I like and I  present them further, in a few words.

<Because of these values, the olympism exceeded the boundaries of the sports, reaching to influence other various fields, which they put in a high value light (economics, art, science).

The Olympism concept highlights the sport as a powerful educational factor, which has like aim the improvement of the human being in all its complexity; therefore, the sport has to be perceived like serving the human development and the construction of an advanced human society.

The Sport, with a millenary history, continuously enriching but maintaining in the meantime the traditions, facilitates the interpersonal relationships by promoting the values such as:  respect, solidarity, friendship, determination, perseverance, team spirit.

The Olympism is culture, to the extent that the performance in any activity, represent the creation, because it involves the discovery of human resources availability, which are capitalizing at them best.>

All those who rich performance in their fields, represent models, especially for the children and young people, and we, the adults, have a moral duty to contribute to highlighting and supporting such models and the development of the Olympic spirit, in general, with all its values.

These values are found between the Hearty Concept values and from this fact, arise the wish to promote the olympism and the idea for THE OLYMPICS, the social responsibility program that we started on 18.12.2012, at the Christmas TEA & Social Responsibility Event, at IBIS Hotel, Bucharest.

The introduction for what the social responsibility means was made by Luminita Oprea, the author of the first books in Romania on CSR topics – “CSR Vector” (focused on stakeholder engagement), 2011, „CSR – from theory to practice”, 2005

One of the promotor of this concept in Romania, Luminita, is teaching the students of the Faculty of Jurnalism and the Communication Science the CSR, trying to rise in them, in the meantime, the personal responsibility.

« I will continue to do this, by being an essential information and motivational resource, through the natural gifts that were given to me, for people who seek to better know themselves, in all walks of life».

The social responsibility programs are more than philanthropy, as yet perceived by some people/companies.

A social responsibility program has a goal that can be achieved through several projects with SMART objectives, with social impact and is a program that is developing over time, becoming tradition.

Therefore,  the 5 o’clock @ 6 o’clock event organized in December 2012, is a framework where the  tradition of Christmas songs was braided with the social responsibility and with the millennial tradition of tea.

The friends from Livada cu ceai … ( The orchard with tea…) were present.

We were delighted with exciting stories about the history and tradition of tea and a demonstration of Matcha tea ritual.

In the Livada cu ceai shops, we find rare teas, fruit blends voluptuous flowers and tea, fine porcelain, goods meant to delight our soul in moments of escape from everyday worries. Moreover, where we always feel guests not only clients and where the hosts know how to add, to each box of tea, a story.

Livada cu ceai is above all, a concept itself, “a place of story, loved by all those seeking a healthy and beautiful phenomenon, which comes from the east and can be placed in a cup with love light, to enjoy our romanian souls,  lovers of story, poetry, beautiful and trendy things. “

All of us, wish tradition for the social responsibility concept and for THE OLYMPICS program, enjoying a Christmas TEA, in an atmosphere with Christmas songs … for a good luck!!!!

Weekend cu sarbatori

1 Decembrie 2012

IMG_5168 (2)Aflandu-ma cu fiul meu la parada organizata pentru ziua nationala a Romaniei, am avut senzatia ca este o sarbatoare destinata copiilor, cum dealtfel si eu ma aflam acolo, in primul rand, sa-i fac o bucurie copilului.

the very professional videoclip “My Way”

Weekend with holydays

romanian article

Being together with my son to see the parade organized for the National Day of Romania, I had the feeling that it is a holiday for the children.  I was there also for the same reason, first of all to make a joy to my child. It was above expectations to see so many people and more of that, so many children.

For my son, the whole parade was very interesting and a reason of joy. For me, the joy was his joy and it was also something else. It was a state of optimism that was in the air, because of the children, which, with their pure thoughts, credited us, the adults, with confidence and charging us in the same time  also,  with responsibility. At least, this was my feeling at that moment, that we, the adults, we are responsible for the trust we are credited by the children. That means that we have not to think only for ourselves, we have to build a collective positive thinking also for the society in which these children are going to grow.

At that moment, I thought that I want to write about romanian people who succeeded, there are a lot of them and I hope to have this opportunity in the future.

There are those people who “found their way” and still having a  very fresh regret that I was unable to attend the concert Horia Brenciu that took place a few hours before, I thought to write a few words about.

Horia Brenciu had a concert in Bucharest on November 30, along with his HB Orchestra Big Band. The concert “My Way” ” is a concert that will remain in history” as he says, more or less ironic as characteristic style, “because is the first time when a swing & jazz music production is sung by romanian singers” .

the very professional videoclip” My way”

What I admire and respect at Horia Brenciu, besides his vocal qualities, PR interesting ideas, that often play his music in concerts with friends, use every opportunity of his concerts  to promote young artists,  he is one of those romanians who was looking, very visible, to find his way and very visible, he found it.

Therefore, I’m thinking that the song “My Way” performed by him, would find a place in this post.

Macy Gray, live in Bucharest, 22 november 2012

Ceea ce mi-a placut foarte mult, pe langa piesele cantate: I do, Nothing Else Matter, Sweet Baby, Do something, Let you win, Happiness, Beauty in the world, The Letter, I try, a fost spiritul de team, empatia si calitatile de leader pe care le-a demonstrat Macy Gray.

( link catre videoclip)

Macy Gray, live in Bucharest, 22 november 2012

It was a night when I had the opportunity to enjoy 3 hours of good music and to realise that, besides a few songs that I like from Macy Gray, I discovered a complex artist and a great person.

Moonlight Breakfast, a romanian young band that plays a kind of Bar & Lounge music, made the opening to Macy Gray. They did a very good job, quality music, sounds like profesional…. I liked them!!!!

With 20 million albums sold, a Grammy Award, an MTV Music Awards, 2  Brit Awards  in the record, Macy Gray sings and composes music and lyrics, she is also actress (the most recent role played with Nicole Kidman in The Paperboy, directed by Lee Daniels), she participates in humanitarian and celebritynetworth.com made an evaluation of its activity at 38 million dollars.

( link to the concert “Sweet Baby” song)

What I liked very much, besides the songs that she sung: I do, Nothing Else Matter, Sweet Baby, Do something, Let you win, Happiness, Beauty in the World, The Letter, I try, it was the team spirit, empathy and leadership qualities that proved Macy Gray. Each of the band members, not only they were presented, they had their  individual role and their place, well-defined, into the show. Macy Gray stated and trasmited that she is not the only superstar  of the night, but each of her colleagues and more of than, every person must  to feel this. Moreover, positive messages were sent during the concert, about faith, self confidence, friendship, freedom, peace.

( link catre videoclip)

In a unique blend of rhythms R & B, funk, rock, soul, hip hop, performing the song I try, Macy Gray spoke about “beautiful” people, about love, love for others, self confidence, and Everything is gona be allright, managed to create an atmosphere, full of empathy. She left the stage with a smile of satisfaction, as she was able to send the right things, and the public responded.

It was a cool evening,  with good music. For mind and soul.

Ikebana & Business Networking : simplitate, echilibru, eleganta, armonie

Lifestyle and Business Casual Events, Noiembrie 2012, Bucuresti

Ikebana & Business Networking : simplitate, echilibru, eleganta, armonie

Ikebana, the way of flowers

Ikebana & Business Networking: simplicity, balance, elegance, harmony

Lifestyle & Business Casual Event, November 2012, Bucharest

On November 15, 2012, through Hearty Concept, I have launched the project 5 o’clock @ 6 o’clock, Lifestyle & Business Casual Events format.

I have created 5 o’clock @ 6 o’clock, Lifestyle & Business Casual Events an Event Concept that propose a business casual framework for workshops on various topics of personal development and business development, combined with lifestyle related topics.

The purpose of organizing an event in this format is to help us, to armonious braid our professional life with what we like and what we want to do in our particular life.
This blend is actually trying to find a balance between professional part of our life, family, friends, hobbies and aspirations.

Sanda Lazur - Ikebana

Readers CafeWhen we manage to perform in our professional activity, finding those elements that we like and that we can, along knowhow and experience, to put a bit of passion, we can be more efficient, responsible and last but not least, creative.
The results will be different
, because, besides the material results, it is about the job satisfaction, the motivation, recognizing the value; the value that exists in each of us.

The air of the event is completed with the location where it takes place, a place chosen to create a nice and relaxing atmosphere.

The theme of the first event that took place on 15.11.2012 at Readers Cafe, Bucharest Metropolis Center, was:

Ikebana & Business Networking: simplicity, balance, elegance, harmony

Ikebana, the way of flowers

Ikebana, “the way of flowers”,  because, in addition to the beautiful natural arrangements that give a good feeling watching them, Ikebana means keeping touch with nature, a cult for beauty.

Business Networking, because when it is done in a professional manner, increases premises for business development or achieving personal aspirations.

The event was attended by entrepreneurs, from different domains of activity, in collaboration with IEBN, European Institute of Business Networking, that made a demonstration of business networking with enthusiasm and fun practical activities.
